The Treehouse (K-3rd) & The Bridge (4th-5th)

While parents enjoy the worship service, Kindergarten through 5th grade has their own exciting service going on!

· Kids encounter Gods Word through drama, storytelling, music, and more followed by small group experiences where they learn how to apply God’s truth to their lives in fun and interactive ways.  Small Group Shepherds also endeavor to develop a relationship with you and your child, encouraging them in their faith journey, and praying regularly for you and your child.

· Check-in for all elementary age kids will be at the South Entrance.  Please check your child in and walk them to their room.  They will be checked out from the same room you dropped them off.

· We only have 1 hour a week to help your child know Jesus and develop a relationship with Him, but YOU have the advantage!  Each Sunday your child will bring home a “Refrigerator Card” with our monthly memory verse, and a “God Time” card that has a daily family experience for you to do together.  These 2 resources will keep the conversation going and help everyone to grow in their faith together!

· For more information or to find out how you can volunteer, contact Beth Locke at 561-753-8883, ext. 106 or email beth@gocoh.com.

NURSERY & PRESCHOOL:

The Nest  (birth to 2 years) is a loving place where your children will receive quality care by devoted adults.  All of the adults are screened with a background check to ensure your child’s safety.

· Check—In for The Nest is at the North Entrance of the building.  Please check your child in and walk them to their room.  They will be checked out from the same room you dropped them off.

· Parents can enjoy the service knowing that we can reach them if necessary. When you check your little one in to The Nest, you will receive a number.  If it is necessary to have you return to check on your child, your number will flash on the screen.

· For questions about the Nursery Ministry or to volunteer, contact Tammy Rimel at  753-8883, ext. 106 or email her tammy@gocoh.com.

The Preschool Pond  (3 to 5 years) Volunteers combine a colorful Bible-based curriculum with music and fun activities intended to share the message that God loves and cherishes each child.

· The children are taught by loving adults who are dedicated to them, and background checked by us.

· Check—In for The Pond is at the North Entrance of the building.  Please check your child in and walk them to their room.  They will be checked out from the same room you dropped them off.

· If you have any questions, or if you would like information on how you can volunteer in the Preschool, contact Tammy Rimel at 753-8883, ext. 106 or email her tammy@gocoh.com.

Parenting

Kids of Hope Ministries offers regular small group and teaching opportunities for parents to grow in their confidence and parenting skills, and to meet to encourage one another in the tough business of parenting. For more information, please email Beth Locke or KathyCopan.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Promotion to new classes
Classes begin and end on Promotion Day, typically the weekend of Memorial Day. Children are placed in classes by birth date or current grade level and remain there all year, and regardless of their turning a year older. This helps maintain consistency in classes. Nursery & Toddler children move up as they develop, but move into the Kindergarten class on Promotion Day.

Sickness Policy
In order to keep all of our children healthy and happy, we ask that you please let children stay home if they have a fever greater than 99.0 or any contagious illness. To maintain healthy rooms, our volunteers are instructed not to admit sick children.

Security Procedures
At check-in, parents and their Nursery through Pre-School children will receive matching ID cards with the child’s name, picture, and an emergency number. The parent will take one ID card and the other will be attached either to the child’s diaper bag (Nursery) or child (Pre-School). At check-out, children will only be released to parents who show the corresponding ID card.

Emergency Procedures
All classrooms are equipped with a first aid kit. If a situation arises where you are needed, your child's ID card number will flash in red on the bottom of the screen in the sanctuary. If you see your child's number appear, please go directly to your child's classroom. If an emergency arises that is beyond our ability to treat, 911 will be called immediately.
